Blackhawks To Host Next NHL Winter Classic

Chicago BlackhawksI am guessing the NHL liked the last Winter Classic since the are already planning one for next season.

TSN is reporting that the Chicago Blackhawks will be hosting the Detroit Red Wings in a game that will be held sometime next January.  It’s unclear whether the game will be at Wrigley or Soldier Field.

This past season’s Winter Classic in Buffalo, was held at the Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo where a record 71,217 fans watched the Buffalo Sabres take on the Pittsburgh Penguins.  It was pretty exciting (even though there was so much snow).  I hope the next one is just as successful.
