Bouillon Returns to Predators Roster

RDS.ca is reporting that tough guy, Francis Bouillon, has signed a one-year contract worth $750,000 with the Nashville Predators. The unrestricted free agent played with the team for four games back in 2002 after being picked up off waivers (but then the Habs took him back after 21 days).

Bouillon has been with the Montreal Canadiens for most of his NHL career which spans across nine seasons. I am sure Habs fans will miss him, along with all of the other players the team has discarded this summer. Bouillon notched up 21 goals and 81 assists in 485 NHL games.
I think he will be a decent addition to the Nashville lineup so I’m excited to see how things go there. I don’t know if the salary is enough but I guess we’ll see if he can prove himself.
I was sad to know that the Canadien didn’t sing Francis Bouillon. I know that kid since he was born a kid with lots of courage and determination not a quitter he is not a Larry Robinson but he is always there at 100% when he is on ice, I remember first time Francis put a hockey equipment on him he was then 4 years old in Montreal he was crying to get it off but finally at the ribk he started to skate with a big smile on his face, I remember that because i was the one putting the equipment on Francis his father and I were very close friends. Francis’s father was hoping he would be a soccer player just like his dad, I met the whole Bouillon family very nice people we all know thaqt they are Haitian the grandmother and grandfather were so polite and nice Jean Claude( Francis’s father) was and still a gentleman.
Now Francis I am happy to know that u will play again and i wish you all the best I hope when you play montreal that u score 3 goals and beat the canadien and to let you know francis Montreal would’ve been better sing you back with players like you 20 of them and a team go get the cup because courage is a gift and you have that gift so keep it up Francis you are the best.
