Bret Hedican Placed on Injured Reserve

Carolina Hurricanes defenseman, Bret Hedican, has been placed on the injured reserve due to a sprained right knee. The hockey club has recalled defenseman Casey Borer from Albany.
Hedican has two goals and seven assists this season. He hasn’t played since the Canes beat the Boston Bruins on December 28th.
Hopefully it’s nothing serious. We’re entering the second part of the season and teams need full rosters to make that final push for the playoffs.
