Bruised Elbow Knocks Brodeur Out of Lineup

brodeur-tsnNew Jersey Devils goaltender, Martin Brodeur, will be scratched from the lineup after he bruised his elbow this past Saturday in a game against the Atlanta Thrashers (Devils won 6-1).

I’m not sure if there is anything more serious going on (I don’t think so) so I hope he is able to return to play soon since I want to see him tie and pass Patrick Roy’s record of 551 wins (Brodeur just needs 7 more!) and is just 22 games shy of 1000 played.  What a milestone season this could be for him!
