Carlyle Coaching Ducks For Two More Years

July 24, 2008 by Jeanne Dupuis

carlyle Randy Carlyle will continue to coach the Anaheim Ducks for, at least, another two years.  He was given a contract extension that will keep him with the club until the 2010-2011 NHL season.

Obviously, he’s had some great success with the team – he led them to their first Stanley Cup Championship in 1997 (yeah, one that wasn’t written into a Disney film!) and a 47-27-8 record for 102 points this past season.  They finished fourth in the Western Conference.
