Chris Pronger Gets 8 Game Suspension!

I know it’s almost playoffs time and all but I’m sorry, I don’t like the fact that Anaheim Ducks defenseman, Chris Pronger, only got an 8 game suspension for stomping on Ryan Kesler’s (Vancouver Canucks) leg. That’s a whopping 22-game difference from what Chris Simon got for doing something similar to Jarkko Ruutu. And please, spare me with the “Simon skated over to Ruutu and instigated but Pronger was leaving Kesler’s part of the ice” crap. Do we really know enough by the footage to ascertain Pronger’s intent and warrant a 22-game difference in suspensions? NO!
Disagree all you like but I’m pretty disappointed in the double standards especially when you consider the fact that Pronger has had seven suspensions prior to this one!
I feel the same way…especially being an Isles Fan
