After the morning skate with the team, captain Sidney Crosby has indicated sidney crosby that he will resume play with the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight in the game against the Florida Panthers.  He has sidelined for more than a week with a groin injury.

Similarly, Alexander Ovechkin will be in the lineup when the Washington Capitals face off against the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs in spite of having to leave practice early after a puck hit him in the right foot.
