Dany Heatley Asks Ottawa For Trade

Dany Heatley has reportedly asked the Ottawa Senators to trade him and I can’t say that I blame him. The main issue, though, is that he signed a six-year, $45 million contract extension and he’s only completed one
year of it. The deal also includes a no-movement clause.
Where is Heatley in such a rush to go? Apparently, he’s got his eyes on the Edmonton Oilers and other reports that I have read this morning mention that he might go to the Calgary Flames in exchange for Dion Phaneuf.
I think he’d be a better fit in Edmonton than here in Calgary and, despite how Phaneuf has been playing lately, I’d hate to see him traded to Ottawa.
The 28-year-old was unhappy with last year’s coaching change and his reduction in ice time.

LoL you know this is posted by a female when,,,what a freakin idiot! stick to shopping and fashion!
Wow. Am I supposed to be insulted by that? The Sens suck and I don’t agree with how Heatley has asked for the trade but I can understand why he wants to leave.
I’ll make sure to send Cassie Campbell an email to let her know that the gold medal she helped Team Canada’s women team win for us shouldn’t matter since she should be shopping. By the way, have you won anything for your country recently?
I don’t blame Heatley for wanting to be traded, sure it is unloyal but I think the spark between Heatley,Spezza and Alfredsson is long gone! He doesnt have a chance winning the cup woth the sens, sorry! I have no idea what team he would fit with though? Maybe Atlanta?
