Flyers Trade Upshall to Coyotes for Carcillo

The Phoenix Coyotes have acquired 25-year-old forward Scottie Upshall and a second round pick from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Daniel Carcillo.

scott upshallUpshall was a first round draft pick (6th overall) who was picked up by the Nashville Predators in the 2002 Entry Draft.  In 54 games this season, he has six goals and 14 assists.  He also won two silver medals with Team Canada at the World Junior Championships.

Carcillo leads the league in penalty minutes with 174 in 54 games.  The 24-year-old also scored three goals and added seven assists.
