You have to love Brian Burke, GM for the Anaheim Ducks. Never one to pull a punch, his response to why GMs quickly dismissed giving three ” He followed with, “It’s just dumb for me. Just dumb.” They also managed to avoid other dumb ideas, like bigger nets, padded boards and crash helmets.
Is it just me or has the GM meeting been a total bust? No serious trade talk to consider. No rumour to pick apart. No signings. Just a lot of bluster. Did these guys just need a vacation? For more, check out the Toronto Star and Hockeynation.com.
