Have you heard this?! Apparently, three members of the Montreal Canadiens hockey club have ties to a suspect who was arrested last week during a police bust on organized crime.
Montreal’s La Presse newspaper has named Andrei and Sergei Kostitsyn along with Roman Hamrlik as persons who the police recorded having conversations with Pasquale Mangiola.
While the Habs are not suspected of any criminal activity, Mangiola was arrested on charges of drug trafficking last Thursday.
Wow… the Canadiens have really been having a tough time lately. I’m sure this bit of news isn’t going to help their mood after coming off of a terrible road trip (1-4-1). I can’t believe I’m saying this but they could miss the playoffs which is really unfortunate since the season was going so well for them until just recently.
