Huselius Leaves Flames for Blue Jackets

Kristian Huselius has traded one “c” for another – he’s gone from Calgary to Columbus. I think this is a good thing for Juice who, for whatever reason, seems to lose his edge and ability to play right around the time his team needs him the most. For these past few seasons with the Calgary Flames, Huselius has been downright awful during the postseason and the push leading up to it. Some have called him “Mr. March.” He’s got major talent but for some reason, he just falls apart at the worst of times (I’m hoping Evgeni Malkin isn’t going that way). My poor daughter cried her eyes out over this trade but, really, I think it’s the best thing for Juice and the Flames.
His contract is worth $4.75 million per year. Good luck and farewell, Juicy!
