NHL superstar, Lanny McDonald, who you may remember from the Calgary Flames, took part in last night’s JunoCup and he was great! Not only was he still amazing on the ice, he was also amazing to his fans. The support for him was overwhelming and he stood, for a long time, handing out autographs. He even obliged me with this photo:

I wish I could Email Lanny myself and thank him for his contribution to that GREAT event that saw $100,000.00 rom the Keg Spirit foundation go toward music education in Canada, as well as the seat ticket sales. My school band was the only band to play at that event, and I can tell you it will be a highlite for years to come as one of the best nights EVER!
