Malkin Signs 5-Year Deal with Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Penguins have locked up a deal to keep Evgeni Malkin playing on the team for the next five years.
I wondered what kind of deal he was going to get and, I must say, it’s a good one. He’s been offered $43.5 million over half a decade. That is an incredible deal for such a young player (he turns 22 at the end of the month).
I think that he should do a little extra conditioning, though. He had such an amazing season and just seemed to run out of steam during the playoffs, which was extremely disappointing.
