Hockey Beat

Martin Brodeur Has Been Skating!

For the first time since since tearing a tendon in his left bicep, New Jersey Devils goaltender, Martin Brodeur, has been up and skating.  They are martin brodeursaying that his recovery is on-schedule and might be healthy enough to rejoin the team before March 1st (his original projected return date).  This is good news!

I was absolutely crushed when, after having such a great start to the season, Brodeur needed surgery to repair the injury.

Fortunately, the Devils did not fall apart in his absence.  They currently have a record of 29-15-3 in 47 games.
