McLaren Trade Nullified by Philadelphia

The San Jose Sharks dealt defenceman, Kyle McLaren, to the Philadelphia kyle mclarenFlyers during the NHL Trade Deadline but the deal has been nullified by Philly after the player failed his physical.  I can’t seem to find an article confirming this but I believe I heard that the failed physical stems from a hand injury that is not fully healed.

I did read that he is expected to be assigned to the Flyers’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms.  So far this season (with San Jose affiliate team, the Worcester Sharks), McLaren had six assists and 17 penalty minutes in 17 games.
