Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Jaroslav Modry is heading home to the Czech Republic and I don’t blame him at all.

The 37-year-old veteran has decided to leave the NHL after signing a two-year deal with Czech club HC Liberec with whom he played during the NHL lockout in 2004-05.

He’s at the end of his career, he was an unrestricted free agent and a team in his homeland offered him a deal.  Makes sense to me!
