New York Islanders Make Some Changes

The New York Islanders have been busy – they hired Scott Gordon as their new head coach and promoted Chris Dey from vice president to team president on Wednesday.
Hiring Gordon is big news since he was named the AHL Coach of the Year after compiling a 55-18-3 record with the Providence Bruins. He’s gonna need that impressive resumé because the Isles need a good kick in the butt.
