NHL Saves of the Week – November 6, 2008

There is some seriously good goaltending in this set of highlights.  I love saves more than anything, I think.  Tim Thomas (Boston Bruins) was a bit of a superstar last week, that group effort by the Florida Panthers when netminder, Thomas Vokoun, was caught out of the net was incredible and, of course, I loved the clip of Miikka Kiprusoff (Calgary Flames) making the save as he fell on his face.

It was Marty Turco (Dallas Stars), however, who made two frantic looking saves that really stood out for me.  It just serves as a reminder of why he’s one of my favorite goalies in the league.  Loves the Turco…
