No Guess on When Luongo Will Return

Hopes were up that star goaltender, Roberto Luongo, might rejoin the Vancouver Canucks this past weekend but when he left practice early, it was clear that something was wrong.
Luongo, himself, said that when he got onto the ice, things just didn’t feel right and he chose not to risk any further injury to his groin. ” ‘It wasn’t feeling like it was supposed to be feeling, so I got off the ice,” Luongo said. ”I didn’t want to make it worse and I’m going to stay off the ice until I’m 100 percent.”
The goalie has been out of the lineup since a victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins on November 22, 2008. This season, he’s 11-5-2 with a 2.17 GAA and five shutouts. There is no timeframe on his return.
