Rick DiPietro Out For Season After Surgery

Well, for the second season in a row, New York Islanders goalie, Rick DiPietro, will get to start his vacation a little early. He will be out of the lineup for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his hip – again. Last year it was his left side and this time it’s the right side.
He’s got a 15-year contract with the Isles and I swear I am starting to hate this super long deals because they almost seem jinxy to me…
