Senators Give Kuba 3-Year Extension

The Ottawa Senators have given defenceman, Filip Kuba, a 3-year contract extension worth $3.7 million per season. Had the Sens not worked out a deal, Kuba would have become an unrestricted free-agent this summer. He had also waived the no-trade clause earlier this week in case he wasn’t offered an extension by the Sens. 
Kuba has two goals and 27 assists in 54 games this season and is considered a power-play specialist.
