Captain Sidney Crosby practiced with his team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, on Friday which, hopefully, is a good sign as he makes progress towards returning to the team following a high ankle sprain during a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on January 18, 2008. The injury also kept him from participating in the All-Stars game.
Crosby has skated four times on his own this week. Still, it looks like he will be out until early to mid-March.
“If you want a prediction, it’s not going to happen,” Crosby said when asked if he was targeting a specific date. “It’s the most frustrating thing to really go through, because two days you can feel pretty good and one day you can wake up and it’s sore.
Your body needs to heal and that’s the way I have to approach it.”
I’m hoping things heal as quickly as possible since it’s almost playoff time and I’m sure Crosby wants to help his team make it.

It’s so sad that Sid got injured at the time that he did. Just on time to miss the All-Stars. And then to only be able to come back in mid March, right before the playoff scurry!
I think you need more pictures.
