I do the morning show at the Rock station in the Staal’s hometown. Not surprised at all to see these guys at a shoot helping the NHL fights cancer initiative…. when they’re home for the summer…. you’ll see them all over the region giving their time for a number of charities including our Northern Cancer research foundation, Easter seals kids…. and the list goes on… from small community groups to big causes…. these are genuinely nice people that were raised right and realize they’re in a position to help….and they do. These guys walk the walk …. and they do it with grace and class. Just one of the many reasons why we’re so proud of them in Thunder Bay.
