As if the Colorado Avalanche aren’t struggling enough, they’ve announced that Paul Stastny will be out of the lineup for at least 2-4 weeks after a CT Scan earlier this week revealed a fracture in his foot.![]()
The All-Star player was injured on March 17, 2009 during a game against the Minnesota Wild when he tright to block a shot. The Avs went on to lose the game.
This isn’t the first time this year that the 23-year-old star has been benched with an injury. He missed a whopping 26 games earlier this season after breaking his arm.
In 45 games this season, the son of Hall of Famer Peter Stastny has 11 goals and 25 assists. Unfortunately, there is basically no chance that the Avs will make the playoffs.
