Blackhawks Beat Canucks in OT, Tie Series

I’m not sure what was going on with the Vancouver Canucks tonight but the Chicago Blackhawks managed to skate away with a 2-1 victory, tying the Western Conference semifinal series.
In what must be called an amazing comeback, Andrew Ladd received the puck from teammate Dave Bolland (Chicago) and tipped it right in behind Luongo to secure the victory. It felt like poetic justice since, with less than 10 seconds left in regulation, Bolland was on a breakaway and Vancouver’s Alexander Edler caught up to him and either hooked or tripped him. Jokinen Powers Hurricanes to Game 3 Win

Jussi Jokinen continues to be an instrumental part of the Carolina Hurricanes’ surprising postseason success and last night’s game was no exception. Just like the Anaheim Ducks in the Western Conference, the Canes are playing surprisingly well in the playoffs and now lead the series 2-1 against the Boston Bruins, the east’s best team this season.

Blackhawks Win, Pull Even With Canucks

I’m so happy about the results of Game 2 between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Vancouver Canucks. Even though Chicago eliminated my Calgary Flames, I still want them to remain strong and push out Vancouver.
The second matchup was almost the mirror image of Game 1 where the Canucks had won 5-3. This time, the Blackhawks skated away with a 6-3 victory. It was a great game because it looked like it was going to be a repeat of the series opener but the Blackhawks battled back against a two-goal deficit and won.
