The details are scant but the NHL is reporting that Washington Capitals star player, Alexander Ovechkin, left practice today after being hit in the right foot by a teammate. He didn’t have to be helped off the ice or anything but he was limping.
Despite not having much information, Caps spokesman Nate Ewell said that the injury is "nothing serious — nothing we’re worried about."
I’ll update when details become available.
