Senators Lose Alfredsson to Jaw Fracture

Daniel Alfredsson suffered a small fracture in his jaw after he was hit by a puck during Tuesday night’s loss to the Colorado Avalanche. It’s unclear how long the Ottawa Senators will be without their captain. "It’s a fracture, it’s just has to heal," said Alfredsson on Thursday morning. "I need time away from contact for a little bit." Uh yeah, I can’t imagine that it would be good for him to take a hit to the face at this point.
