Ducks Wisniewski Taken Off Ice on Stretcher

The Anaheim Ducks had to remain focused on the game after watching defenceman, James Wisniewski, taken off the ice on a stretcher. He was injured when he was his in the head by the elbow of Detroit Red Wings forward, Tomas Holmstrom.
I’m not exactly sure what the nature of the injury truly is, to be honest, since when I was watching the game, the commentators blamed it on him getting hit in the chest with the puck (it looked that way to me too, initially).
