Yesterday, Chicago Blackhawks star, Patrick Kane, issued a public apology for allegedly assaulting a cab driver while visiting his hometown of Buffalo, New York earlier this month. I was really shocked by the incident in which Kane and his cousin supposedly attacked a cab driver after the man said he didn’t have the 20 cents change when he was given $15 for a $13.80 fare (he had a dollar but not the other 20 cents). Since when do we not tip taxi drivers???

I seriously can’t believe this but Patrick Kane has been arrested for robbing and assaulting a Buffalo-area taxi driver. The Chicago Blackhawks forward was in Upstate New York visiting family when he and his cousin were arrested this morning.
Here’s the story (and it’s very lame). Kane (20) and his cousin James (21) punched a cabbie who didn’t have proper change – they gave him $15 and wanted the change on a $13.80 fare. I’m guessing these two geniuses never heard of tipping people in the service industry???
The cabbie offered to give them $1 but they wanted the other $0.20 …read more

Toews, Kane and Campbell Release 2009 All Star Campaign Commercials

I had seen the Jonathan Toews/Patrick Kane commercials in passing the other day but I decided to dig them up on YouTube this morning so that I could see the whole thing. I was almost crying I was laughing so hard. The commercials spoof those U.S. election campaign ads in an effort to increase their votes to get on the 2009 NHL All Star roster.
Just when I had recovered, I discovered Brian Campbell’s ad campaign. I was doubled over laughing again. Too funny!
