Blue Jackets Activate Rick Nash From IR

The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated Rick Nash off injured reserve. The left wing had been benched with a lower-body injury for the last four games.
I’m sure the Jackets were happy to have Nash, who has been named to the Western Conference All-Star roster, back in the lineup since he scored a goal in his team’s 6-5 victory over the Vancouver Canucks last night.
I don’t know for sure whether he will play in the All-Star game but it looks like he’ll be ready.

Rick Nash Placed on Injured Reserve

Rick Nash has been placed on the Injured Reserve by the Columbus Blue Jackets, retroactive to January 6, 2009.
Nash is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury. No word yet on whether he’ll be able to participate in the 2009 NHL All-Star game later this month.
I know his absence will be felt by Columbus so I hope he can get back in the lineup quickly.
