Is Luongo Really Ready to Return – Again?

Is this it (for real this time)?  Will Vancouver Canucks goaltender, Roberto Luongo, return to the lineup after almost two months on the bench? 
He’s saying that he feels like his groin injury is 100% healed and that during a 75-minute practice, he was able to play without holding anything back.  On the Canucks website, he said: "I feel back to normal, so that’s good and I’m excited about it.  It’s nice to be back. Luongo Skating But Not Ready To Return

Vancouver Canucks fans (and the team) have a reason to be hopeful – star goaltender, Roberto Luongo, is a little closer to returning to the lineup.  He skated and practiced for about an hour yesterday morning.  “I’m able to do movements totally pain-free,” he said. “I’m able to kick it out and not worry about hurting it again. But it’s still in a controlled environment. I’m not (going) full-out in practice.”

Luongo Fails to Make it Through Practice

Roberto Luongo made an attempt to participate in a team practice today with the Vancouver Canucks but, after only 20 minutes, the star goaltender left the ice. 
Luongo, along with the team and the fans, was hoping that he would return to the lineup this weekend but that is not looking reasonable at this point. 
Coach, Alain Vigneault, had little information for reporters, saying that he did not know whether Luongo had suffered a setback.  He said that the netminder has been following a steady plan, he is expected to practice tomorrow and that groin injuries are tough for …read more
