Roberto Luongo Out With Fractured Rib

After multiple reports said that Vancouver Canucks goaltender, Roberto Luongo, would be out of the lineup indefinitely, the team is relieved to learn that he will probably only miss a week due to a hairline fracture in his ribs.

Hopes were up that star goaltender, Roberto Luongo, might rejoin the Vancouver Canucks this past weekend but when he left practice early, it was clear that something was wrong.
Luongo, himself, said that when he got onto the ice, things just didn’t feel right and he chose not to risk any further injury to his groin. ” ‘It wasn’t feeling like it was supposed to be feeling, so I got off the ice,” Luongo said. ”I didn’t want to make it worse and I’m going to stay off the ice until I’m 100 percent.”

Luongo Fails to Make it Through Practice

Roberto Luongo made an attempt to participate in a team practice today with the Vancouver Canucks but, after only 20 minutes, the star goaltender left the ice.
Luongo, along with the team and the fans, was hoping that he would return to the lineup this weekend but that is not looking reasonable at this point.
