Samuelsson Signed By Vancouver Canucks

After securing the Sedin twins, the Vancouver Canucks have added Mikael Samuelsson to their roster by offering the winger a three-year, $7.5 million deal.
Samuelsson seems happy with the transaction.  In a conference call he said: "Obviously that (the money) was the key, I shouldn’t lie.   They have a good thing going and I think my role can be a little different here. Sedin Twins Seeking Contract Extensions?

I’m reading reports that the Sedin Twins are hoping to sign a 12-year, $73 million dollar contract extension with the Vancouver Canucks.  I can’t say I’m surprised but I’m a little disappointed that they aren’t thinking about heading to another team.
I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with them staying with the Canucks but I actually think there’s a lot of untapped talent with these guys and I also think that they don’t get the recognition they deserve (which means a lot considering how much I dislike Vancouver).
