The Stanley Cup "Visits" Set of ER

Hmmm… I know Gary Bettman wants hockey to be more popular in the States but I had to laugh out loud when I saw that the Stanley Cup made an appearance on the set of the NBC series ER. Apparently, it was part of the trophy’s press tour in California. Ha ha! They did a hockey episode on the show recently and it was funny to listen to them talking about it. Star, Scott Grimes, actually played hockey so he had an advantage over his co-stars. For this year’s Cup winner, Grimes picked the Detroit Red Wings.
