Ways to Enjoy Hockey During the Summer

100_1784Today, b5media’s Sports Channel is blogging about how we each have fun during the summer.  This is a tough one for the hockey fan since, well, hockey is a winter sport.  Or is it?

While I prefer to be on my couch watching a game, there are things about the summer that I look forward to.  One thing, of course, is July 1st because it’s not only Canada Day but it’s also “Free Agent Day.”  It’s like Christmas because you just don’t know what each team is going to get (or it can be hell to watch your favorite players sent to other clubs).

Really, the summer is a great time to look back on the season, check out all of the trades and start predicting which teams are going to go all the way to the playoffs.

Or, you could just play street hockey…
