Western Conference Playoff Spots Decided

So, it’s all wrapped up in the Western Conference. The Edmonton Oilers lost their chances of making the playoffs earlier this week and they took the Vancouver Canucks down with them last night. The Eastern Conference is still undecided.
It’s been a rollercoaster ride of a season! Teams in and out of the top 8 all year long, right down to the wire. My favorite team, The Buffalo Sabres were officially bounced from playoff contention last night, so I’m a lil down today and I am trying to figure out who to get behind in the playoffs…I’ve always been an underdog kind of person – If Washington can make it in, I’d love to see a Washington vs. Habs series and a Predators vs. Detroit series could be good…for some reason it’s devilishly good fun to hope and see if the Red Wings get knocked out in the first round.
