Western Conference Standings – Nov. 15

western conference standings

Surprise, surprise… the Detroit Red Wings are leading the pack in the Western Conference.  I’m so shocked (I’m obviously kidding).  But I am very amused by how well the Columbus Blue Jackets are performing.  I’m really interested to see where this season takes them.

The Northwest Division is not as tight as it normally is with the Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames being tied and falling 5 and 6 points behind the Minnesota Wild and Colorado Avalanche respectively.  With Luongo and Kiprusoff underperforming (what are the chances of them both sucking at the same time?) the Canucks and the Flames could be in some trouble.

Things in the Pacific Division are looking pretty predictable, to tell the truth.  No major shockers there ;)

How do you feel this season is coming along?
