Baseball in Switzerland

October 27, 2006 by Geoff Young

This is a little heavy on the talking (my German is terrible) and light on the action, but it’s always good to see baseball being played around the world. This footage is from the 2006 Swiss Playoff Semifinals between the Bern Cardinals and the Zurich Challengers. The Cardinals went on to win the championship, which you can read about at Spielplan.com. I don’t know about you, but I seriously geek out when I catch wind of stuff like this.
