The Chicago White Sox defeated the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday to earn the final spot in the 2008 baseball postseason. The White Sox won 1-0 and got their lone run on a Jim Thome homer. John Danks gave up only two hits for the White Sox over eight innings before Bobby Jenks threw a perfect ninth inning to seal the deal.
