Blueprints Unveiled for New Nationals Park

Hey, if the players like it, I guess that’s all that matters right? Apparently the new designs were being passed around for the soon-to-be-built in D.C. At the low-low cost of $611 million dollars, the Nationals will have a new home.

I like the dimensions, 332 down the left field line, 409 to dead center, and 335 down right, it’s about average as far as park sizes go; what will set it apart, however, is the unique construction…according to D.C. officials the design will be, “a glass-and-steel structure clad in pale stone chosen to complement the world famous skyline of the nation’s capital.”

Sounds cool to me. Read all about it!

  1. Sweet. I can’t wait to go to a game there. RFK sucks.

  2. I want to go to a game there too; I’ve never even BEEN to D.C. Sad.
