Francisco Liriano Video – Ace is Back?

Francisco Liriano is back. After missing all of last season with an arm injury, Liriano was back on the mound and looked sharp on Sunday.

Technically speaking, Liriano pitched earlier this season for the Minnesota Twins. However, he was obviously still hurting and he was sent down to the minors. In the minor leagues, Liriano got his groove back and now looks like the stud pitcher he was back in 2006.

In 2006, Liriano had a 2.16 ERA to go with a 12-3 record. On Sunday, Liriano pitched six innings, giving up three hits while striking out five batters.
