What’s going on in Taiwan? Glad you asked. The 16th Intercontinental Cup runs from November 9 – 19, and features teams from Cuba, Italy, the Netherlands, Australia, China, Japan, the Philippines, and South Korea.
The Cubans are considered the favorites. They won the event on their own soil the last time the tournament was held, in 2002. Follow the event at the International Baseball Federation web site if you’re so inclined.
And you thought baseball season was over.
