The baseball league that nine-year-old Jericho Scott plays in still won’t let him pitch. In fact, they held a press conference to tell their side of the story. So far, the baseball league isn’t backing down.
In the video you can see at the end of this entry, Jericho Scott and his mother Nicole Scott both say they just wanted Jericho to be able to pitch. The league, on the other hand, wants Jericho to move up and out of their developmental league.
This story began as a just a funny story coming out of New Haven, Connecticut. Now reporters from around the world are trying to get the latest from this unique situation. Here is a video of Jericho Scott and his mother:

Screw all the other parents and officials. They just didn’t get the kid on their team and they don’t want to lose to him so they say he can’t play. Cowards.
To Jericho Scott.
NEVER FEEL GUILTY FOR ACHIEVING SOMETHING !
Don’t let the little people pull you down. If you love pitching, do all you can to continue it.
God given talent will never go unrecognized. Someday this kid will pitch in majors.
Give me a break, 2 sides to every story. Come to find out he was offered to play up turned that down. Was not on the team until the mid point of the season (can you say ringer). His parents put him in this situation and now are crying its not fair. The problem now is who will want this kid on their team. If the parents don’t get their way they will just move him somewhere else.

Maybe i’m not getting the whole story, but a nine year old throwing 40mph is average. Here in north georgia, we have a 9 year old throwing 60-65 mph. Two more pitchers on the same team can consistantly hit 60 on the radar gun. They play on a 10 and under team and face kids who are 10 throwing in the 70s. Just let the kid be young and play a baseball.
