Draft day is finally here. Time to stop speculating and start watching how the cards actually unfold. We’ll be covering the entire first round pick by pick here at Knuckle Curve. I’ll continue adding to the below list as the day progresses (clicking on a player’s name will take you to a more detailed page that includes stats and links out to other resources). Enjoy, and best of luck to your favorite team!
[Update: The pace of this thing is kind of kicking my butt. I'll try to keep up as best I can for now and fill in the gaps later. Thanks!]
[Update #2: Reality sets in. I won't be able to get through all the players individually, so I'll just link out from this page.]

2007 Draft Report (MiLB.com) | Article at MLB.com — “Withrow is 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, and White compared him to a young John Smoltz in delivery and body type.” - J.P. Arencibia, C, Toronto Blue Jays — David Rawnsley says one scout he talked to compares him to Javy Lopez
2007 Draft Report (MiLB.com) | Player Bio (University of Tennessee) - Tim Alderson, RHP, San Francisco Giants — draws physical comparisons to Chris Carpenter; only pitches out of stretch

– on a phone call; missed this one
2007 Draft Report (MiLB.com) | Article at MLB.com - Wendell Fairley, OF, San Francisco Giants — won’t come quickly but draws comparisons to Tampa Bay’s Carl Crawford; Keith Law calls Fairley a top 10-15 talent in this year’s draft
