Well, I hate to tell you I told you so, but, wait, no I don't! I told you so..... JimMVP Rollins deserved to win it, and did. He was crucial to his teams success and no matter what anyone says was as deserving or more deserving than everyone else, and the fact that he did it as a lead off hitter is even more impressive. If you can't see that he is the man because of your biased opinions than that is your problem. There is no question that Holliday was a good candidate but he plays left field for pete sake, Rollins is at the most crucial position on the field and had good numbers at the plate as well as on the bases. ENOUGH SAID. MVP!!!!!!!!

Holliday hit 25 Home Runs at home and 11 on the road. He batted .376 at home and .301 on the road. He had 82 RBI at home and 55 on the road. There's no question that Coors is STILL a huge advantage, just look at the Rockies team stats. 103 home runs at home, 68 on the road. .298 average at home, .261 on the road.

You let Prince Fielder play in Colorado half the time and he would have broken the single season record.

I am a big New york mets fan and it would be great if David wright could win it. But with that said Jimmy rollins has great numbers yes but, Matt holliday carried his team to the playoffs with incredible numbers. The phillies made it because of a met collapse not Jimmy rollins incredible play. What I'm saying is the phillies would have made it without jimmy rollins in those last 17 games thanks to the mets. But the Rockies wouldn't without Holliday.

I'm a Brewer fan and my vote is for Holliday. You can say Coors is a hitters park but not as much as it was previously. Prince just finished only his second year, and he's still learning to hit. Fielder's future is huge to say the least. But this year Matt is MVP.

Hmm... MVP of the NL? Prince Fielder... I love the guy and he can fricken smash the crap out of the ball. And being runner-up with 5 shy of being Home Run King. Thats really something to say. Especially coming from his Sophmore Year.

I was able to watch Holliday play last night in the tiebreaker game, and without doubt he is a great player, however, an everday player like Rollins who is not only a offensive producer but a key contributer on the defensive side of the game. It is without question that a shortstop is much more valuable than an outfielder. He is the infield general and gets much more touches than an outfielder. I am not taking away from how good Holliday is I am just saying that Rollins brings much more to his team than some good offense. He is a complete player that is relied upon in every way. It is easy to see that he is more important when you look at the relation of touches he gets to the touches that Holliday gets. MVP is not only offense but defense and consistancy!! Once again just look at Rollins and you see the total package which is what the MVP is all about. Good luck to all the Players but this award is Rollins'

Matt Holliday hands down!

Holliday became the fifth player in the last 59 years to lead the National League in both batting average and RBIs! He also led the NL in hits (216), total bases (382), extra-base hits (92) and doubles (50)

Give Matt his Holliday PAY!!! MVP!
