Yeah, you could see it coming from a mile away. That’s probably why I’m not as upset as I should be. It’s like a festering wound that just won’t heal. Eventually you get used to the pain.

But you forget, baseball is more popular than ever. Attendance is up, merchandising is up, he has Congress thinking MLB is serious about “cleaning up baseball” and the money keeps coming in. If you’re an owner, why change horses in mid stream? I agree it stinks, but it’s not a surprise.
