Pink Bats For Mothers Day?! A-Rod Rejoices.

You know, for the first time in a long time, I’m almost at a complete loss for words with this one.  It’s come to my attention, that Major League Baseball will have all its players swinging PINK BATS on Mother’s Day.  Hold on, I’m gonna say that again, so it sinks in…MLB will have its players swinging PINK BATS on Mother’s Day!

Players that probably wouldn’t make the aforementioned Iranian Baseball team rejoice.  Your time to swing the bat you wish you always could is at hand, and you can really feel comfortable in your own skin Sunday.  Just wait, someone will capture a picture of A-Rod with the biggest grin of his entire life.  I guess the pink bat would have gone perfect with his girly “slap the ball out of the first baseman’s mitt” in the playoffs two years ago…shame he didn’t have it then.   SportTech has a good take on just how all this went down, and my buddy Aaron hit the nail on the head when he said it will be, for lack of a better word, bizarre, to have Barry Bonds break Babe Ruth’s record while swinging a pink bat.
