Poll: How Many MLB Stadiums Have You Visited?

We’re looking for current and past stadiums here. And driving past or going on a tour without seeing a game doesn’t count. 
I’ve been to four current California stadiums (all but PhoneCo) plus Candlestick and Tiger Stadium. That’s all? Yeah, I guess so. I’ve been to dozens of minor-league parks, but only six MLB stadiums. How about you?

My wife and I have now been to every current stadium with the exception of the new Nats stadium of course. Also 5 nonexistant staduims (RFK, Fulton, Busch, Riverfront, and the Vet). The best were PacBell, Petco, Wrigley, Fenway, and Camden with the worst being ProPlayer, RFK, Riverfront, Oakland and Metrodome.

Fenway is my favorite by far.
I have walked around Chase Field but have never been to a game there, and I hope to make it to an angle game sometime this year.
Jason, Steve: Thanks for chiming in. I saw Safeco while it was being built, and I drove past Jacobs Field on the way back from Cooperstown last summer. Looked nice from the interstate.

Dusty, I’d love to visit Camden. It looks great on TV.
Bob: That is an impressive list. It also reminds me that I’ve been to Rogers Centre. How could I forget that?
I’ve only been to 3, Geoff. Yankee Stadium, Shea, and Fenway.
Fenway’s my favorite for sure. I’ll take the uncomfortable, facing-the-wrong-direction seats and the general crowdedness for the experience.
I actually liked Shea but maybe that’s because one of the games was a classic — Marlon Anderson tied it in the 9th with an inside the park homer (vs the Angels). Cliff Floyd won it in like the 12th with a walk off blast after the Angels took the lead.
Yankee Stadium would have put me to sleep if Pedro wasn’t pitching for the Red Sox ; )
Good stuff, MB. I’ve heard very mixed things about Fenway. I imagine it helps if you have a soft spot for the Red Sox.
I have been to a few parks.. All of the parks out here on the West Coast. Candlestick and the Kingdom were awful to watch baseball. Dodger Stadium very much overrated! To get to the park you are forced to drive because the public transportation is so bad. Thus the long traffic jams! Unlike most other places, you miss the action on the field when you go to the concessions, etc. Jack Murphy was not bad at all. A lot of good site lines. The Oakland Colesium was great until they screwed it up for football. The newer parks out here are very good. ATT Park is awesome! Petco is equally beautiful in San Diego. Angels Stadium is much better now that it is baseball only again. I have not been to the new park in Seattle. Family there says it is a great place to watch a game.
In 1993, I was back east. I saw a game in Toronto. A great park ( for a dome!) The artifical turf ruins an otherwise great park. Also, I saw a game in Camden Yards. Simply the Taj Mahal of baseball stadiums. As much as I love ATT Park, Camden Yards is the best place that I have seen a game.
Fenway just feels like your stepping back into the 1920’s for the night its really kind feels magical.
I agree Yankee Stadium is a pit and I’m glad they are constructing a new stadium instead of trying to modernize it. You have to take my comment with a grain of salt though, we got tickets in the alcohol free section (OF bleachers) it was great not having to deal with drunken Yankee fans but you are not allowed access to the rest of the stadium so we could not take the full tour.
Thanks, Jim. I only made it to Oakland after they tweaked it, and I agree: not the best place to catch a game. Unfortunately I felt the same way about Qualcomm at the end. Closing off the stadium to install more football seats made financial sense but killed all the charm for baseball.

Nice list, Broocks. I only ever made it to Tiger Stadium once but it’s one of my favorites. The place just felt like baseball to me.
