Preseason Picks Revisited: AL East

Now for the latest installment of holding myself accountable. We’ve already looked at the AL West and AL Central. Today we move to the AL East, which is about as exciting to predict as the sunrise. Lessee, two guys with money enough for machine guns versus two guys with slingshots and another who has no clue what he’s doing. Gee, I wonder what will happen…
- Red Sox – I had a 50-50 chance of getting this right, so stop with the applause. Oh, that wasn’t applause? My bad.
- Yankees – Hey, look, there’s the sun.
- Blue Jays – ¡Qué sorpresa! They speak Spanish in Canada, right?
- Devil Rays – I just had a feeling that Tampa Bay might be able to slip into fourth this year. Still, they gained ground on Baltimore. Such drama…
- Orioles – If finishing ahead of the Devil Rays isn’t cause for celebration, then I don’t know what is.
There you go. See, I told you it was exciting.

Hopefully you can help me. I’ve been searching for the preseasone odds on the Boston Red Sox and cannot find them anywhere. I’m looking for all their preseason odds: AL East Division, AL Pennant, and World Series. If I can remember correctly, the Yankees were huge favorites to win the division at like 2-5. My thought are that the Sox were 3-2 for the division, 8-5 for the pennant, and like 3-1 for the series. Hopefully you know where to find the correct lines. Please help me out!
Not sure, Mike. This article at MLB.com says 10-1 to win it all, but I don’t know where the author got that number.
